Disciple weapon choose for soloing

    Hi guys,

Wondering if you all found a windblade (extra parry % with less damage), or a bladed staff (more damage less evade) more efficient for soloing? Assuming all other gear factors are the same.

    Thanks in advance!

More efficient? Not from what I have seen.

I use one on engage, then after self buffed and debuffs on the mob, I switch to h2h or staff.

It does add some added survivability, but not enough to counter the larger dps loss/longer fight time.

Thanks for the response Graye. I love the animations of the two handsets so I was hoping their dps would be higher but alas H2H it is.

I have 2 disciples, one using hands and the other using 2 handed blades.

The 2 handed blades while doing more damage with one hit, is out performed by the 2 hands since the hands are 2 hits. I'm not a parser so I can only tell this by how quickly/easily a mob goes down which is much faster with the hands using wraps etc.

Also, I don't have any of the great wraps or knuckles just a few yellows I found along the way.

    Good luck

I used a windblade a lot when I solo'd because that parry makes a pretty big difference. Eventually I ended up switching to a two handed staff because of the crafted procs you could get on them, but I do recall using the Arena sword for quite a long time and was able to survive a lot of things with the extra evasion.
