Game stuck on "Waiting for response from World Servers..."

So I just found out the game went F2P a week early, downloaded the patch, logged in, and tried to start playing. For the past 15 minutes my game has been stuck on the character selection screen, not showing characters, and showing the "Waiting for response from the World Servers..."


Is something going on/servers down or am I having some other problem?

Servers are down, expected to be back up in 50 minutes. It was delayed twice already, by 2 hours each time. Check the 'Scheduled Server Downtime' thread in the 'News and Announcements' forum for details.

Ahhh ok. Thank you guys very much. Got too excited about playing Vanguard again to do much looking into the server status

I have the same problem and it is well past 6pm pdt now. Is the server up?

Still cant get in...3 days now...sent in a petition

Still cant get past world server...and still no response to my help ticket.

Same again now? Only started checking this game out last night. Not the most promising sign lol
