I finished up the Diplomacy Saga (up to where I get the clickable dragon illusion) and do not see alot more along the lines a a Diplomacy quest chain, just the Civil Diplomacy quests. Does the Diplomacy Saga pick up again or is that the end of the road? Is there another quest chain for diplomacy I should be looking for to lead me further or is it a Civil Diplomacy grind from here?
im not sure at which level you ended up with after the diplo saga. But i think your best bet is civis, the older diplo quests are not giving enough exp to be be worth it. There are some small diplo quests, like in NT, or the high shaman staff one etc, and pota and magi have a small diplo part.
