My wife and I are new players, we are very excited to see what Vanguard has to offer, but we have had a pretty rough start. To get things kicked off each character we make we spend a good 10-15 minutes customizing their appearance. Once we enter the game and hide the helm it shows the default look of the race. Is this normal? Are we just suppose to use the default appearance? If this is the case maybe a caveat needs to be put into the appearance options saying so until it is fixed, it is a real turn-off when such a basic feature does not work. UPDATE: Upon logging out and back in with the same character the appearances seem to be set to what we created. Something to do with hiding the helm seems to set the looks back to default. This is likely a known bug and very low on the priority list.
Yeah it is a known, at least to players, bug and right now is likely very low on the priority list. They are making huge changes to the game right now that will make it much better once they iron out the bugs the new code made or uncovered. Hang in there!
My wife and I just joined last night. My wife almost quit over this little bug. Do they not realize how important customization is to female players? Don't get me wrong its really important to me to. Esp breast size
