i've been in this game since release, and have put up with all those early bugs, the first server merge, playing with a pc that could only play on medium, crashing while doing apw mobs etc and have enjoyed the game despite the problems it has had over the years. now i've got a pc that can play with decent settings and framerates i find that the way the game has been treated and the lack of support has led to a sence of appathy creaping in towards the game. lack of players, no news about what is going to happen to the game in the future etc have taken their toll on the player base and i can see no signs that soe will try to turn this game into the success it deserves to be. i feel a lot of players are purely going through the motions while waiting for something better to come along - rift, tera, gw2 etc. and that we will find ourselves alone on this server as the population dwindles over the next few months as these new games turn up. a move to the other server will only delay the inevitable as soe continues to neglect the game and waits to pull the plug when the payments from the userbase drop below the cost of electricity to keep the servers going. therefor, i decided to cancel my sub to the game. playing this last month will kind of be my last hope that soe do something over the christmas period besides bring randolph back next month but i'm not holding my breath I have to say though that The one big thing about this game for me has been the people in it, both in my guild and out of it. to those i have had the pleasure of meeting in the game since release i wish you gl and gh. to those who decide to play on Halgar for it's remaining time i hope you know that you have chosen a good server with good people on it. dont let soe get you down.
