Since the last patch, I have noticed it can take >2 min to switch between multiple accounts. I am attempting to run 3 accounts in windowed mode. If I log out a character I will get a black screen for a long time and takes a long time to render character select. This did not occur prior to last patch I was able to freely log in/out characters with multiple accounts up. Has anyone else noticed this?
If you're multiboxing, you may want to check to make sure you have enough available ram to run all of them at once.
Sadly, this seems to be happening to everyone since the last patch. As well as some really horrible lag spikes.
I haven't tried multi boxing since last patch, but I said I had no problem multi boxing prior to the patch. Thus, one can may conclude the problem is not hardware. The problem is AFTER the patch it became a pain to multi box. It takes a long time to load them up (must load them up 1 at a time and each one takes awhile to load up). There is no real problem once all of the accounts are up, it just takes forever to log them in and switch between them while you play. I have NEVER had a problem running 2-3 accounts until this last patch.
Please submit in a support ticket so we can gather more information and look into this for you. Please be sure to include your Dxdiag/Msinfo to expedite the process.
