I logged in and it says I have items to claim, but I don't know how to claim them. Supposedly you could claim them in the store but the store was removed, so....?
Anyone know the answer to this? SOE? Hello? Same issue here. Recently returned to enjoy VG for the last time but not really nice to lock people out of bonus items they might be able to claim.
It seems that some of us with a custom UI still have a button for the cash shop, the default is fubared. I suggest sending a PM to Yaviey or maybe Ashlanne and ask for assistance. This forum doesn't get much attention anymore.
Custom UIs still see the button and can launch the Cash Shop but we cannot purchase anything, it is locked, so no transactions can be made. There is a /command to toggle the cash shops window but it escapes me at the moment. Someone else may be able to help with that, it brings up the cash shop window without needing to use the button, it was posted on the forums a while ago too but I am pushed for time and unable to find it after a quick search sorry.
Yeah someone was helping me that I asked in game. They were telling me to try /togglewindow marketplace or something along those lines and it didn't tell me it wasn't a command it just didn't work. He also told me about some custom UIs, but it appears the vanguard UI site that people used to get the from turned into some MMOUI site that no longer has Vanguard on it, and I'm not about to accept some random download from a stranger. TL: DR Toggle command doesn't work and site with the UI mods no longer exists.
Hi all, The Marketplace has been disabled. This is standard when a game is getting close to its sunset date. We generally do this approximately 30 days out.
Standard, doesn't mean right, proper, or ethical, denying people access to their collectors edition items (which they paid extra to have), veterans rewards, and other claims is downright dirty pool, closing down the marketplace did not need to mean we can't use /claim, all they had to do was enable the original /claim code. Every time i logon or cross a chunk and see you have 15, 8 etc items to claim it's just another slap in the face.
How were we supposed to know it was standard? Or why didn't you bother posting something beforehand that this was going to be the case? The FAQ https://forums.station.sony.com/vg/index.php?threads/vanguard-saga-of-heroes-sunset-faq.71456/ posted seems to give the impression the store would be available till the 31st. Honestly the players are already upset what is the point in removing something this close to the end?
