Developer Spotlight – Welcome Back Aradune!

I say the success of vanguard from here on depends on the relationship that Silius and BM have or develop going forward. If they can play off one anothers strengths then we may be in for a treat. If ego's dominate then we are screwed. Here's hoping you guys work well together. No slight to any of the rest of the dev team, but that seems like 2 alpha dogs in one room. Either way, I am excited to see what lies ahead.

I was honestly expecting a LOT of heat to be generated from this, but I'm glad to see I was wrong. Welcome back Brad, and I hope you can bring a new light to Vanguard. I'm broke and a stay at home father, so I look forward to VG F2P. Though being able to wear better than common would be nice.

This news alone got me to resubscribe. The game has lost its way since launch. I know he's not in charge anymore, but I hope his pressence will start bringing the game back to where it should be. No more casual/WoWization of the features and game world yes?

Brad is the only Developer to get such a big response to his thread, yet the only one who hasn't personally dropped in to say hi.

I think I re-read that post about 4 times thinking it was some joke. Well played SOE (for once). This was the last thing I was ever expecting to happen to VG. OMG THIS IS AWESOME!!!!

Brad McQuaid is the godfather to all modern MMOs. It is nice to see that SOE not only put more people on VG, but also hired the best

I wonder in what capacity he is coming back? Consultant?
Adding anyone to the VG team at this point is cause for celebration. Brad had a lot of great ideas for the game but some of them were cause for it's long development which led to it's terrible original launch. Hear's hoping that the second times the charm
I bought two collector's addtions at launch. Maybe I'll give it a go again.
