Munich, Germany, August 15, 2012. ProSiebenSat.1 Games and Sony Online Entertainment, LLC (SOE) are expanding their exclusive partnership with four online games for the European market. Following the successful launch of DC Universe™ Online on the servers of ProSiebenSat.1 Games, the games publisher from Unterföhring has secured four more exclusive licenses from SOE: Vanguard: Saga of Heroes®, EverQuest®, Wizardry® Online, and Bullet Run™. 2. Kinda old news.. and if you will notice Vanguard was not listed on any of those lists... Also if you read there is nothing about SOE "Selling" anything.. they entered a partnership...
  3. Sorry if you felt I was insulting SOE. It is listed now, it was just announced at Gamescom in Europe. To a company that REQUIRES you the player to allow remote access for ANY reason that you need to contact support. That still also states in their TOS that if you don't log in for a year they can close your account out. If you don't believe me, go read the UPDATED PROSABIENSAT1 FEEDBACK thread on EQ2 forums under General Gameplay.
  4. It's a sad moment to see a game like Vanguard listed under the name of some German mass media stock corporation.
So could we at least get some info on how this will affect Vanguard?
Will Halgar be handled by PSS1 while Telon remains with SoE? Will EU players be "allowed" to create toons on Telon in future at all?
The PSS1 group as a whole appears to be disastric to say at least. Several threads on the EQ2 or PSS1 boards speak for itself.
