Sounds like you're trying to get into the website Dhelmar. Aasha has the keys to the website, (which I haven't been able to log in to either) while Isoel started the Facebook page. Or maybe I'm confused... certainly wouldn't be the first time.
Agreed & correct Billham Aasha is still working on the website, the FB group is up & functional atm ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/castawaysoftelon/ ) the website & linked forums are still in the works
Ahh.. that's it then! Silly me! Well, I'm not into FB so I'll just set up camp outside the forums and wait til it opens.
bump!!! Seriously though.. the 7 years I've been in game (minus a little break) have been wonderful. This was my first REAL MMO and has turned me into a "gamer". I love it. I've met so many great friends, both in game and in person and also met the love of my life, whom I will be married to this May. I will definitely miss the game as well as the people and extreme kudos to Isoel and Aasha for doing the sites. Y'all rock!!!!!!!!!!! So.. until the time comes to turn the servers off.. I will save the sappiness until later!

See the above posts, Solarison. I did the same thing. Turns out the Forums aren't ready yet but the FB site is up. I was the 2nd one to make that mistake (that I know of) How many more to follow?
It would be good to have a forum outside of here so we can post knowing our information will not be deleted by soe mods.

Okay...it seems that some explanation is in order... This post is regarding the Forums at the Castaways of Telon site - There seems to be some confusion as to what is available and what is still being worked on between the new community site and the Facebook group. As I posted on Friday, the site is published but the forums are not done. This process has been confusing for a couple of reasons. Due to having only just renewed my subscription for my guild site and domain for four years, I was able to work out with my host to cancel the hosting renewal and apply that money towards a hosting that would allow me to have two site. So, the new hosting plan and new domain was purchased for three years. In doing this change, there have been a number of issues moving old information over to the new one. (My original site was created in 06 and that code is old now, so there are compatibility issues in some of the content). The hosting change took time complete, once it was done, then there was an issue with the IPs not functioning correctly. Once that was sorted there was issues with the email protocols for the two domains being that the new server set up is different than the old one. I am sorry that this is taking longer than I had expected, but hey, it's free to everyone else so But to those who have never tried to sort out host/server, email, coding and IP issues with two 4 1/2 year old asking 9,875,435 questions the whole time - I have two that I can provide to you for a nominal service fee so as to get the full experience!! For those who have registered, and those that would like to register - you can, I see the log of the accounts registering. Every account will be activated once I complete the forum set up (which I can return to once I finish moving files from my server to other places - as I can not do both at the same time). I will post here when it is all done.

The forums are up and functioning. I have some posts to make but other than that they can be used. Everyone who has already registered has been authorized and should have the ability to post - should anything be incorrect though, please do let me know and I will get it sorted out. (The Community News area is restricted to members replying only and the Admin section is off bounds to everyone but Isoel and I.)

Unable to make a post. Generally you need to set what level users can make/read/edit/delete post in each category, sub category. Take your time and make sure you understand how to restrict and allow access as desired. And it helps to have a 2nd account to test with, one with no admin access.
