Nvidia 3d vision issue

  1. When I play Vanguard in Nvidia 3d vision mode it works but the 3d effect is barely noticeable. I have set the 3d depth to maximum and the 3d effect is still barely noticeable. When I increase the Convergence with the Control F6 command then the 3d effect really shows up. The game looks amazing in 3d but only after I increase the Convergence a lot.
The problem i'm experiencing is that as I increase Convergence it corrupts many UI elements. First the compass at the top center of the screen stops functioning. It just freezes and as you look in different directions the compass does not move.
As I increase Convergence the chat window starts to split in two and eventually disappears altogether, the same with the quest tracking window. The hotbars are not affected so I can still use all my abilities.
While playing in 3d mode I cannot use the Compass, Chat window or Quest Tracker window, but all I have to do is hit Control T to exit 3d mode and all those UI features are back and working fine. So if i want to play with great looking 3d I just have to sacrifice using those UI features, and when I need them I just exit from 3d.
When I use 3d vision with LOTRO, WoW, and GW2 it works fine and I have no issues with corrupting the UI.
Can anyone help me with a solution to this problem. Is there a way to adjust the 3d depth and convergence with out interfering with the Chat window and Quest Tracker window? Thanks in advance for any help.
  2. I've never had the pleasure of playing around with 3d vision glasses. In other games that work with the glasses, do you have to use special settings from within the game? I'm asking if they are specially designed to work with your glasses. It's actually not terribly difficult to render a 3d image and it is quite popular in some game engines. Some of SOE's games support 3d rendering natively. Anyway, it's just a curiousity to me about what NVidia is doing for the glasses. It must be happening in post. If it's something that we can easily support we might be able to put it in the queue of things to be done.
