Race Change Question

Hi just a quick question, I bought a race change item but when I try use it it says I must be a gold member or purchase the item unlock from marketplace to unlock the race? I bought the item unlock but I still don't understand. Can I change race without being a gold member? I'll be extremely annoyed if not as I just wasted money

You should contact customer service for this.

I do not think they are intentionally selling Marketplace items that require you to buy other Marketplace items to use them.

Yeah I bought that item, right clicked it. Pulled drop down box and selected what race I wanted to change to but all I get is a pop up message saying about gold membership required or unlock item from marketplace.

Then definitely do contact customer service for this!

This could be some residual code left over from before when they opened up all the races to F2P..? I would def contact CS, petition it and submit a bug report

Kaari, submit a ticket as well to see if a GM can look into that for you.

Just to chime in, I changed my race on Saturday, w/out problem. The above may be a one-off issue or specific to a certain race?
