    Hello Telon,

Now is the time to remember everything we loved about Vanguard. I do not want my last logoff to happen in a random place, I want it to mean something for me. I believe I'm not the only one who thinks that way, it could be fun to know where the others will logoff and why this place is special for them.

My spot will be in Ruin Falls, on the fountain with Hegnerian's statue.

Ruin Falls has been my recall spot for years. Every evening, after whatever-my-guild-had-been-doing, I ended up here. Most of the time, I stayed a little more (or a lot) chatting with guildmates on Mumble. I always stayed logged in Vanguard, although doing absolutely nothing useful.

But I must be hyperactive, I can't be doing nothing AT ALL ! So I used to run around in circle on the edge of the fountain, or climb the statue (it's not possible to reach the top, believe me I tried a lot ! :p) Why did I always run on the fountain and not on the ground ? I still have no idea.

I have probably spent more hours on this fountain that anywhere else in Telon, It reminds me of quality time spent with fun people. Also, Hegnerian was one of my favorite fights in the game, I like the idea of retiring in front ot his statue. Countless times I have logged of on this fountain, the last one has to be here too.

That was my story (I hope nobody fell asleep :p), now it's your turn to share some memories. :)
    Soara and Kilsin like this.

My 1st VG comp was a Pentium 2 with a built in video card. My 1st character was a paladin and I would stare at a wall with the back of the forge just barely in my field of view so I wouldn't lag too bad. Even then I was only getting 5-8 fps. But I had so much fun doing it. I will take him back to BC and will be in the middle of a work order.

When the game launched, I carefully read all the race and class descriptions, wanting my first toon to be a good match in flavor and ability. Ultimately, I created a vulmane druid named Dinjoc who was my main for nearly my entire tenure in Vanguard. I spent weeks in Dahknarg playing and leveling him, even starting his crafting and diplo which I wouldn't pick up again until a year or two later. Even after all these years, I still remember that area fondly and would often run around there when I had nothing better to do. And when the lights go out, that's where I'll be. One final time.

Monel started his life in Telon in the City of Tursh so today he took the scenic route home and took a seat in a rocking chair on the porch of the inn ended his journey there.

I enjoyed every minute I spent in this wonderful world and while I did not play all that often since 2011, I was here from early beta until 2011 and I have yet to find a game as wonderful. I will cherish the fond memories. Thanks Sigil!

I plan on wandering the world on my ranger like I've been doing since the beginning. I don't know where I'll be when it all ends, but I'll be out there somewhere in the wilds.

I missed logging in by 5 minutes to see it all go black.
