    Dear Vanguard Players,

As you may have noticed in the New All Access Plan thread, there have been some important updates to the FAQ, including the information below about Vanguard memberships.

We will upgrade all existing Vanguard members to SOE All Access status, from April 29th until the game sunsets, on July 31st, 2014. If you have any game time remaining on your Vanguard account at sunset, it will be applied on a prorated basis to your new SOE All Access account. If you do not wish to continue as an All Access member upon the sunset of Vanguard, please remember to cancel your account on July 31, 2014, or it will auto-renew.

    Thanks,
    Mepps

Wow, i even had to remake my forum account to post, uncool. :(

So Will the Station Cash Vanguard marketplace still be open until VG sunsets? I ask because I am paying for a gold membership and have bought station cash with the expectation that it would be open until it sunsets (and would not have done so otherwise) I even dug up some of the unused collectors editions i have to get a couple friends to play until it sunsets. I would strongly urge you to let us redeem our SC where WE the customer chooses, if you feel you have a legal issue in allowing that, have a disclaimer popup when we claim our SC in the VG marketplace or an even better suggestion, until VG sunsets have our SC balance be usable across all games that have a SC marketplace (Including Vanguard). it will also make your sunsetting of other games in the future that much easier. (apologies for the run on sentences etc)
pity we don't have laws in place to protect our digital possessions as they do in certain Asian countries.

    Hey Aeric,

Regarding the first thing you wrote about having to remake a forum account - can you please elaborate? Feel free to private message me about that. Unless it's been a long time since you signed into the forums (before we created new forums), you shouldn't have had to do that.

Now about the Vanguard Marketplace - that is not going away with the update today. It will remain in the game until the sunset in late July. The reason it's mentioned in some of our New All Access messaging is because most All Access games get a 500 Station Cash grant, etc. However for Wizardry and Vanguard, the necessary work to overhaul the Marketplace to allow this and knowing the game is set to sunset, this 500 SC will not be natively supported to redeem within the Vanguard Marketplace as a result. For more info, I urge you to read the thread regarding these new changes here: https://forums.station.sony.com/vg/...pdated-april-25-2014.71219/page-2#post-781083.

So in short, no, the Marketplace isn't going away. Therefore we're not doing anything to stop you from redeeming your SC the way you choose. Instead, the 500 monthly SC for the new All Access plan must be redeemed outside of Vanguard because the technology isn't available within Vanguard. Another note that should be mentioned is that your Station Cash wallet is shared between all participating SOE game titles. If you have 1,000 SC in Vanguard, you have 1,000 SC in EverQuest II, and vice versa. If you spend 500 SC in one, you will then have 500 SC left.

Furthermore, if you have any questions regarding a refund for your Gold or previous All Access membership OR Station Cash items, please contact our Customer Service team at https://help.soe.com.

When the servers came up after the transition to All Access my SC wallet was empty, even though I had a few thousand SC before that downtime. And it looked like I am not the only one who had their wallet stripped.

Please clarify that this is not inentional.

From what I read we are not able to claim more SC by using the VG cash shop, but we should be able to use existing SC there (without gold member bonus applied, if I remember correctly). While I really don't like the cash shop, in these last few weeks it finally has some uses, since I can provide things like item unlockers to free-to-play people who are trying out the last SOE game that is worth plyaing. Or buying a hundred lockout timer removers in case some imaginary raid force is getting the idea of doing the same encounter multiple times in succession. This way the years of auto granted SC for Eq, then all access, then pure VG membership have at least some use in the end.

I'm confused. The FAQ stated you would be upgrading all Vanguard members to All Access as a way for them to find new homes. Was this only for Gold members? The way I read it, I thought all players would get upgrade until the sunset so new homes could be found.Sorry if I misunderstood, but you might want to change the wording on the fact then (otherwise it appears that f2p members aren't members).

Arutam, no this was not intentional! Last night through this morning we've noticed some additional issues related to Station Cash balances and commerce. A post was made this morning here: https://forums.station.sony.com/vg/...-continued-work-being-done.71578/#post-781128. Please put in a support ticket with our CS team at https://help.soe.com. We are very sorry that this happened and again, was not intentional.

Hey Xull, I've answered this in a different thread but upon further examination, this only applies to previous Gold members.

Please tell us how we can cancel our accounts. I also would like to know how I can see my current payment plan, in terms of how much and when you plan to charge my credit card.

Both the option to cancel subscriptions and to see our payment plan used to be on the "Account Management" pages. It seems they were removed, or I am very blind.

Under 'Membership Info' the following is now stated for all the accounts I pay for:
"SOE ALL ACCESS MEMBERSHIP PLAN: CURRENT ALL ACCESS MEMBERSHIP PLAN: 1 Month PRE-PAID Time (Expires 7/31/14)". I have subscribed to a 3-month plan for my accounts .. what happened here?

By the way, I do want to keep my subs until July 31st, but I also do not want to pay for one more day after that.

(I would have posted this in support forum but it is not really visited anymore.)

    Thanks
