  3. Crusing down to Arlington today to beat the crowds on Monday I was listening to this
Paul Butterfield Blues Band "East-West", from 1966. (Mike Bloomfield on guitar)
Had it on reel to reel in Viet Nam was the frist thing I would play when I got back to my houch along with some adult refeshments /hack hack...
Here's a little Al Cooper-Mike Bloomfield from the Fillmore East 1968
One more of my favorites also with Mike Bloomfield on guitar also 1968
It's a Beautiful Day "White Bird" and now the "Time is" for me to hit the sack and drift off 1969 style.
  4. Just a list of stuff:
The Presets, Flux Pavilion, Lil Wayne, Oj Da Juiceman, Cookie Monsta, Skrillex, Benny Benassi, The Crystal Method, T.A.T.u., DEV, Breakbeat Bhudda, Mindless Self Indulgence, Young Jeezy, Akon, The Qemists, Nero, Sub Focus, T.I., Paul Wall, Tech N9ne, Noisestorm, Daft Punk, Slipknot, La Roux, VnV Nation... the list only grows
  5. I don't even recall now how I ended up on this page (the miracle of hyper-links!) but once I did this song wouldn't get out of my mind. I've been humming it for two days straight now. Randy Newman's "I Think It's Going To Rain Today."

Speaking of It's A Beautiful Day, I had the privilege of seeing them perform in concert in 1970. A great show. But I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't go because of the music. The reason I went was because I had a massive adolescent crush on Patti Santos. *sigh*

PseronWyrd. You missed a great concert. I saw them in November of 1969 at Fresno State Univ. It was the weekend before Thanksgiving and the last concert I would see until Quicksilver Messenger Service, Jan 1971 after I got back for Viet Nam.
