Title says it all. Crafted several new types of weapons for my rogue and I want to equip them to see how they stack up compared to older ones I have now. Main reason is not wanting to invest in a bunch of unbinders so I can remove the bound lock on an item if I don't like the stats. So couple of questions. 1) Can I copy my rogue over at his current level and stats and how is this done? 2) Does his inventory copy over with him? Like I said want to try out new stuff. 3) Is this even allowed since the main purpose of the test server is to check the game itself for bugs?
To copy a toon over to test you simply type /copycharacter when on the live game server and on the character you want to copy over. The commad does not instantly copy your character over. It's random whenever the devs do a copy cycle to the test. Most notably when a large piece of content goes on Test Server for testing. It could be weeks or months before a copy is run. The Test server is also not always up. Everything your character has copies with you. Inventory, banks, etc. This sounds like a very bad way to test items for your toon. Just buy the unlockers and support the game while testing.
yeah was just wondering about it and if it would be better then having to buy unlockers all the time every time i craft something to check. didn't know they only do it when they feel up to it thanks
