Chosing a healer...

I know I want to play a healer but deciding between the four healers is the hard part, I've got a 44 bloodmage, a 36 disc, a 30 bear shaman and a 25 preservation cleric. I'm torn of what one to chose so I was hoping to get some opinions on what healers do best at max level. I'm not much of a solo person as I like to group and hopefully one day raid, at least lightly.

So far from what I've done the cleric and shaman are the more standard healers, while they can take simply take a beating I sometimes find myself getting agro. Rather it was the tanks I had or simply my level I'm not sure. Also I'd like to do at least some dps but knowing when i played a cleric long ago in EQ you have to sacrifice something to be the best healer.

So my question is what healers shine at max level, i know all can heal but what ones really have the best bang for their buck. I like the difference play style of the disc and bloodmage, where your healing through melee or lifetaps. I know the bear shaman doesn't really shine until he gets his endurance regain and higher level abilities and my preservation cleric doesn't get all his toys until higher levels too

How is desirability for a particular healing class, as a disc I often feel my buffs don't do much, even with the endowments. As a bloodmage i feel i can give something to everyone, as a cleric I feel a bit of a jack of all trades where the shaman it seems everyone has a pocket ones just for the buffs.

So I'm torn between what healer to chose, I feel each has different strengths and weaknesses but being as I don't have a max level character in Vangaurd I really would like to pick one that benefits not just me but my group and raid also.
    Thanks for any advice, Kantan

To be completely honest, they all are good at end game and right the way through.

It really comes down to personal preference. I play a 55 bear Shaman and a 55 Preservation Cleric and I love playing both of them for different reasons but if I had to choose...my Bear is more fun and a great group healer, he also has a regen mana by sacrificing hp, so you will rarely see a Shaman out of mana plus he can do some ok dps. (all Shamans are awesome but my favorites are the Bear and Wolf).

Cleric is pretty slow dps as a Preservation affinity but War and Death Clerics can do pretty well in the Dps area if geared well but let's face it, most players play a healing class to heal, not dps, unless you are a Bloodmage, then you are doing both and are required to if you want to heal effectively or you are an end game raider and like pushing yourself and your class to the limits.

There are way too many Discs running around these days in my opinion but Shaman and Bloodmages seem to be less seen than Clerics/Discs.

I am sure no matter what you choose you will have no problems getting into groups, everyone needs healers ;)

The simplest answer to that question is: A skilled player who knows the ins and outs of their class and can adjust accordingly to whatever situation arises.

I would go with a Bloodmage personally. They are just so fun to play. They also make a lot of encounters/mobs a whole lot easier. Once you get your epic its also pretty cool to experiment with the different pets you can get.

Always a hard choice for me as well, my shaman bear is 52 and my cleric is 48, and BM is 34.. All nice classes, BM by far most Intricate but squishy.. Comes down to lay style.. Do u like the DoTs and Pet? Use that bear, like being in plate? And big heals? Cleric... Like a bit more dps, and a new style of healing through dmg, and unique buffs like qJ :) BM ur man.. Disc? No thanks :)... Only class I don't have, ill let the rest of the server each have one, cause they are "OP" :)
