Hello folks - I finally decided to return to the game now that I have a computer that can handle it (it has been a couple of years since I played). Its taking me some time to figure out what I was doing - I'm still a bit lost.

I have a question - is there any sort of player bazaar area in this game (or like the Auction House in WoW) where players sell their drops and wares?

    Thanks folks!

Welcome back. If you are in a major city you can talk to a guard to find the location of the Exchange. It's kind of barren now. Don't know if you are aware but the game is closing down 7/31/2014.

I probably have more stuff than the AH...can probably throw something on there if I knew for what class.

Post anything that's mystifying you, the few of us left are pretty much the same old helpful bunch.

Thank you; I am at the point in my crafting (I'm an Outfitter) where I have to use resources from other crafters. In the current case, its "tin sheets" (I think that's what its called). I don't work with metals so I was hoping to find some for sale...cheap...

Apparently there's no "edit" feature on this forum but.... I wanted to add I am still trying to figure out the Crafting aka Tradeskills on this game. It seems the "poor", "fair" etc is totally random, and so is the movement percentage. I can spend 125 action points and move up 6%, or 75 action and move up 10%.

It can be random, Dedawen. If you just learned a higher level skill, you will start off with low %. The more you use it the % will go up but it can still be a random higher %. How many tin sheets do you require? Let me know and your characters name and I'll make you some.

Thank you so much - my character's name is Shalond, and I only need maybe about 10 or so to try out some of the new recipes I have. I can give you one silver per - if that's a decent price, I don't know. I only have about 15 silver LOL

Ah...I'm not much of a crafter, just have I dunno probably a bank full of BoE's starting from fairly low levels. I was not wanting to dispose of them to anyone who would quit in two weeks, but I bet I could fish out a couple of items for almost any kind of character.

    What are BoEs?
  10. Amnath Active Member

Oh, kind of a generic term for Bind on Equip...meaning gear that I looted that can be sold or traded to another player because I never used it personally.

Some spots in Vanguard can be farmed for the stuff, I wouldn't go to that extent, it's just a collection from soloing and winning some greed rolls.
  11. Dedawen New Member

Oh yeah. Most of the stuff I have is "bind on equip" but nothing very significant it seems.

No, a lot of the loot (and even quested items) are not very good.

But, just for example around level 20, as a shaman, you could get from Hold of Intangibility a focus that's +84 to spiritual or something snazzy like that. That place drops a fair amount of BoE stuff, but it's not on anyone's radar.

I don't believe for a minute that a character needs to be stuffed to the brim with all the best equipment, but getting a few things that are above average does make a difference.

Hey guys I'm back... another couple questions if you don't mind:

    1) I have looted a couple coffers that require a "skeleton key" to open. How do I find or obtain one?
    2) I have a couple quests that send me to New Targonor that is apparently in another continent, but I have no clue how to get there (I'm in Qalia and no map I've seen so far says "Thestra ---> this way"

Thanks all! I've been back in the game for about 5 weeks now and have only seen 2 other players :(

Skeleton Keys are purchased from the SC shop. THe gold coins and bag icon lower right of your screen.

You must get to a rift stone then you can take the rift right to New Targonor. Depending upon where you are at in Qalia. Theres a rift stone at Khal & Qa Riverbank. Not the light blue dull looking obelisks but the crystalized purple or green obelisks.

Did you still need those sheets? I apologize I never did get around to making them. :(

Thank you, I appreciate your info!

And yes I do still need them...I have a couple crafting recipes to upgrade my weapons and armor that require tin sheets... thank you :)
