Would a Halfling Disciple named Bandobra Bullrogarde be welcome? :) He has done all the quests he could find in Rindol Field and is camped at the guard house. He did not start with the quests at the "official" starting area. Hope you have room!

I think there is still room. I know four of us for sure with a possible necro joining us. You would be the sixth one to round out the party. I don't know if Morty has had anyone else send him pm's or anything. If we need to get two groups going that would be fine as well.

ya ... a few levels difference wont be too big a deal ... when we actually get the "Turn Off XP" skill, we can use it when needed to either even up, or just to turn off XP so we can further explore any given areas we want.

Guys I had a blast. Thanks again Morty for putting this event together. And many thanks to everyone that showed up. What a great time we had. We did end up creating a guild. The "Halfling Explorer Group" or THE HEG as Morty puts it. We celebrated at the Baron's Tooth Tavern in Rindol Field. I hope Morty didn't get any weird pics to blackmail us with. I am sure he'll be giving an update with a link to his blog.

I totally agree with my Halfling brother Enkur (Waylian) It was a blast, and I am glad Enkur had the idea of a guild. We look pretty sharp with our guild tag on ... hehe.

The night was a little hectic with all the quick low level quests, but it was a blast, and thanks Enkur for leading us around a lot. You had a good idea of where everything was. Very cool to have you there.

We had 5 people .. almost a full group! I am super happy and surprised. Thanks a bunch to all of you willing to show up and play late. I will indeed post a blog article sometime soon. (before Wednesday)

For now, here is a picture of our Motley Crue .. well we didn't get Jite in the shot because he had to get to bed. (but he is there in spirit ... hehe)
We had a cute stand in for him though. ;)

Man! I was messing around on my little bard in preparation for this, and I ended up falling asleep at my keyboard for like 15 mins. And it wasn't even 11:00 EST yet! I'm getting old. Oh well. It sounded like a blast. I'll have to catch yall next Saturday.

We knocked out a lot of quests along with a few ales afterwards. All I want to know is how that big Orc fit through the door to the tavern. I know I didn't let 'em in. Yebral lost 50 xp for letting his tankard run dry (the shame).

    So a short summary of our event (as I am sure Morty's blog will be provide more details);

We slew the Rising Farmers and found Hugh's Ring.
We took out some Foxes (They didn't have much to say since they were dead)
We battled Brownies between Rindol Field and Rindol Storehouse while finding a recipe book.
We took on the Zombie Brownies & Constructs behind Wintham's Rest.
We retrieved the pages for Zelser's Journal and the Tursh Fish Hook.
We decimated the Imps and Occulus that infest Tursh Academy.
Our assault to take back the Rindol Storehouse is not yet complete, we did however retrieve the baskets of food and locate the brave student.

The event ended with the forming of the "Halfling Explorer Group" guild at the Baron's Tooth Tavern in Rindol Field. Tankards were raised, much ale was consumed. Yet always there was a watchful eye on the Orc in our presence.

Though I do have to work Sunday of next week, I think I am going to stay up for this week's event. I look forward to completing our assault on the Rindol Storehouse and definitely looking forward to continuing questing and exploration. Riftseekers Torrent is on the horizon, a dungeon I have never been through. :D

It's Wednesday! Time for a report from Mortylis.

Some of it was already mentioned above by Enkur, but the blog post has a little more info with some pictures.

I hope you enjoy the post and pictures.

Oooo I just had an idea ... the others might not agree, but anyway ... wouldn't it be cool to all have matching cloaks for a while. (until we need ones that have better stats)

Can cloaks be made, and or dyed to a specific color? Question for you crafty types. :D

Cloaks can be made, but from firegrass, silkbloom & vielthread. That is T3/T4/T5 materials. So firegrass would be level a level 20 something item and so on. There are cloak vendors. The white colored cloaks being sold on the exchange are purchased from those vendors and sold for outrageous prices because players just don't know where to get them from. I know on the Isle of Dawn you get a cloak reward for completing the Temple of Ancestors. I am not sure if there is a cloak reward from each of the starting areas beginning quest lines or not. The earliest cloak I know of off a mob drop (which has a quest as well) is Ruquasa in the Qa Riverbank Chunk. It is a dark blue with white trim. The mob is a level 13-3 Dot and the cloak is level 8. I don't know if the issue with the cloaks have been fixed or not but all four cloaks have the exact same stats and they are just named differently. I reported it long ago. But I do like the idea.

This looks like fun, I've got a level 8 halfling monk that would like to join if you have room. I think im at about the same point quest-wise.

I found the vendor for cloaks. Basically they are either black or white, with or without hoods. Basically for appearance slot only though they can be worn. +6 armor I think.
  18. MortyMykk Active Member

can you pick up 6 black cloaks?
  19. Enkur Well-Known Member

sure, my gift to The HEG! :)

    Hooded or no hood?
  20. MortyMykk Active Member

hooded ... because can't we put the hood up if we want on the hooded ones? and take the hood off when we want?
