I was planning to buy a few things in the marketplace to go out and explore the game for the rest of the month while taking lots of screenshots on a flying mount, but the marketplace is nowhere to be found. Did you disable it for good during the last month of gameplay ? That would really suck if it is indeed the case.
Hmmm well, that is really unfortunate because if they didn't want people spending any more money there knowing that the game has less than 1 month left before it goes down, they could have kept it and make everything available for free as a way of saying thanks to the few or many people still logging in to the game and also to show some goodwill to their customers, especially those like me who are playing some of the other games in SOE's lineup. Needless to say, it would help Vanguard to go down on a good note, with people enjoying the last few days with plenty of bonuses, flying mounts, pets, companions, etc. Instead, it seems SOE wants the game to go away as quietly and unnoticed as possible. It's a shame really because the game may have had plenty of issues during its 7 year run, but it was nonetheless a hell of a fun game to play. P.S With the marketplace gone, I can't even claim my veteran rewards. It seems SOE can't wait for 07/31 to arrive.
It seems to be a UI problem, on my main gaming rig I use a custom UI and it's working fine, on my laptop with default there is no cashshop icon. Maybe a petition would get someone to look at it thought everyone is probably gone for the weekend. The only way to get someone to look at these forums is to PM someone (Yaviey) or report your own post but that is frowned upon.
Hi all, The Marketplace has been disabled. This is standard when a game is getting close to its sunset date. We generally do this approximately 30 days out.
