    Hi fellow adventurers!

I miss Vanguard, was the first bard on my server to reach lvl 50... and quit after a while with many of my friends as the world lacked content..

Now I am back, also with a lvl 50 ranger friend of mine....

I just installed the game again and to say the least, I'm a bit rusty :)
I remember I had some macros to help me equip my two weapons fast, and an instrument when playing different songs... Anyone have a list of good bard macros?

Other tips/hints of changes I should know of? Im not sure I want to read through all the patch notes from all the years Ive been away from this game :) Any help is really appreciated!

We are looking to find a new guild eventually, as casual raiders/players....

I also came back after several years break, and the biggest change i saw for bards is that drum instruments no longer affects speed song component.

As for macro, here is the kind of macro i use for all songs :

    /wear "Item name" PRIMARYHAND
    /wear "Item name" SECONDARYHAND
    /playsong "Song Name"

rule 1: requiem of war and anthem of war do not stack... don't play requiem.
rule 2: requiem of war and anthem of war do not stack... don't play requiem.
rule 3: requiem of war and anthem of war do not stack... don't play requiem.

there was a new ability added to the trainers called mellarien's chorus of arms, it is like harmony of war and stacks with harmony so you can grab it and layer it in your song.

aside from the above, you can build dps macros since several key abilities do not trigger global cooldown (deagro, eaon's bellow, and the fesants chants) just toss them at the top of your macro and then follow with your abilities that trigger globals (razor parts silk, crit chains, ect).
