Final Resolve is a large club with many members. We are the longest standing guild in the history of Vanguard having weathered many server mergers. We are proud to say we have never merged or absorbed another guild. Please understand that in order to keep our club's 'drama quotient' low, you should expect a bit of scrutiny during your application period. The end result is a great club that endures!! Our members are varied: Some like to raid, some prefer to slave over a hot forge or chat up an npc. FR supports all activities and most of our members are at max level. Our goals are many; however, we focus more on end-game content such as PotA, KDQ and CoB. A good many of us are through sisters and have/are working on our epics. We utilize a calendar for events. Sign up is recommended if you want to ensure you have a slot. Currently Raiding: We have killed all but a few mobs. Recent kills: Sunshine, Shendu, and WarGolem. Currently, FR is working on farming Shendu and WarGolem before we move on to Karax progression. We regularly farm all other overlands as needed. Sisters, Trials, Magicborn, Chickens are done as needed. WTB more mobs to raid or quicker expirations on lockouts! Raid Schedule: Sunday, Wed, Friday || 8EST to 11EST. FR does smaller event nights where we will do things like Core runs, Chickens, APW, "Honey-do's" throughout the week. Current Raiding Need: [See most recent reply/bump since we cannot edit the original post] Raiding types: We walk a fine line between hardcore and casual, and as such we try to give our raiders a good game as well, so we have more expectations for our raiders. If you are interested in raiding, we'd like you to be 55 geared, and ready for raiding with experience as to your role at raids. Raiders should be prepared to attend on raid nights and be actively working through their PotA stuff and gearing on off nights. Under 55 may still apply however, we are limited on what classes we can take. If your class is one that we have a lot of, then you should be willing to play another character until that need changes. And you should understand that some events require max leveled and gear to attend. Raiders should also be subbed. We are a DKP based guild, with modifications and a decay implemented for inactive/mia raiders. Our system is designed to give everyone a fair chance at growing their character and obtaining loot while not penalizing the regular raiders. Raiders who are on the bench for an event still earn dkp on the 'waitlist' program. DKP is paid for support activities like pushing dips. We look for more mature members, with no axe to grind, who are looking for a nice casual club that raids. We aren't racing others to the top, but we do like to hold our own. Bumping to update with current raid needs for April: Still looking for a cleric and would like one more Psi and one Druid. Also need to add Alagan to our kill list, (not that it was that difficult), but was a fun encounter. WTB better loot on that guy.
Heard the guild requirements for new players is to send all refine bags to the guild leader - Min 25 per day? Is this true?
it isn't just people who want to apply to the guild who mail bags to val... it is kinda of a server wide thing... it was the will of the doe, we must all comply... oh and we need to teach the halgar people the wonders of where extra bags get mailed!!!
I heard that as well, according to doe we have an obligation to send refined bags to Val whenever we have a chance.
.... On a brighter note, we filled the position for a Druid. Of course we will always welcome the right person regardless of class.
Maybe we could get the devs to increase the amount of mail you can get in your mailbox before things start getting returned.
Just an update for our raiding needs: We'd like to get one more Psi, one cleric and a Shammy or 3. WTB butteredtoast. 'Course, recruiting is always open for the right person if you don't happen to have those classes. Update on progression: We are still farming Shendu and IWG, but have been moving on to new content. CoB!! Wrah! Working on Karax as well. Alagan; we had so much lag that we zerged him to death repeatedly. Done with him too. Should see those pics... Fun times!
