in the days (they were limited, it got nerfed quickly) that black market item selling with diplomacy was "viable", you could sell items for 100 times their value. a 5s vendor item would sell as 5g to a npc if you won the parley. my question.. will it ever come back? now the whole system is worthless to use. i would suggest a x10 value instead of x100. then people would actually grind for something else then city buffs or pota faction. granted.. i grinded hours in the days the x100 was up.. and got 40 plat that was bit much return.. but getting 4 plat (with x10 bonus) would help long way to pay for epic pota gear costs 'n all. thoughts?
the dev that worked long and hard on diplo is no longer with them and diplo as an income stream was not considered to be important. when the level caps changed to 55 for all but diplo it was pretty clear that it would be static going forward. This is sad because many of us really like that sphere of the game and hope for more
I have to say that one of the reasons that Vanguard was so special to me, was due to the diplomacy and crafting spheres and not only adventure/combat. I hope they reconsider the neglect of these two spheres becuase they are a major part of what made Vanguard so special.
