Some live Isle of Dawn, Shaman and Bard feedback.

  1. I recently took my family through the Isle of Dawn with a three Shaman (one for each patron) and a Bard to check out the changes.

The changes to run song, I like the better speed off the Lyric and Embellishment, but the lower Melody speed (was 29, now 25%) may need rethinking. I dislike that drums no longer modify run speed. My level 6 Bard is much slower and stays slower until level 10 and that is only 1-2% faster then.

The Shaman Changes to buffs could use some adjustments.
The only Buff the shaman has for the entire island is the +75 energy and 20% faster cast speed buff called Oracle’s Sight. The problem I found with this buff is that I didn’t know I had it until about level 6. Most level 1 abilities are on the hot-bar when you enter the game.
Shaman used to have a total of 3 buffs at level 10 on the Island, same number as the Cleric, not counting the short duration combat buff. Shaman Hit-Point Buff (Infusion) that is available at level 10 you can only get after you leave the Island, I miss the lower level one that was removed.
I also do not enjoy the change to Spirit of Rakurr to level 12 from level 8 Buff.

I also found that one of the quests on the Island had 4 rings for the reward and only 2 of those rings had visible stats. The quest was from the Spirit guy just inside the temple.

The post-island Shaman has a hard time from level 11 through level 14, due to being weak compared to the rest of the content. This gladly changes once the chose their patrons at level 15. I am not complaining about this mechanic, it makes the gain feel that much better.

The Shaman could use a few tweaks from the Patrons.
I see no game changing reason that the Tuurgin bears should have to wait until level 34 for Tuurgin's Vigor I (endurance regen) when it could be moved to level 18, when Hayatets get the energy regen and Rakurrs get the Haste buffs. Endurance regen at that level will not break the game, all Clerics get one at level 12.
Hayatet skin buff levitation should be a separate buff that can be left on if you remove the illusion or when clicked off removes the illusion, also. The current state of the Hayatet skin buff I have to remove all of it to do any underwater content, don’t need to be a flaming bird under water, just want the skin buff benefits, minus the Lev.
Hayatet is supposed to be the caster DPS form and is still behind the Rakurr in DPS by a noticeable amount. May be able to tune that by raising the all spell damage amount on the Hayatet skin buff along with adjusting the Fire damage upwards.
All Skin buffs seem to have issues either not giving the correct regen benefits or not displaying the regen benefits, it goes both ways between the skins

From here on in this post are ideas that are less important, but if time is available, should be considered.
Shamans may benefit from an AE added to them from their patrons, other than the one Hayatet gets at level 34.
Tuurgin could use an AE that adds a little hate to help with tanking.
Rakurr could use an AE that lowers hate a little, but still provide enough agro that they could still keep a mobs attention if they are trying to tank a Mob for the group.
You may have guessed I like the Hayatet by now. Hayatet could benefit from getting an agro reducing AE at a lower level.
    Also Hayatets need more DPS.

I hope most of this can be adjusted and at least looked at.
    Be safe all.

Absolutely correct. Hayatets got a small boost a while back but no where near what it needed to be.

Would be nice to hear from our friends About where they stand on this stuff.

And this might make Shamans a little happier, too.
