I'm in my racial city and hit level 10 diplomacy pretty quick. I keep getting xp from parleys, but the xp bar remains the same at 23%, and doesn't move foward. Anyone know if there's something special you have to do to get past level 10, like you have to in crafting? Or is this a bug?
Not sure if it is related but I have been unable to progess my Goblin in the Tanvu diplomacy storyline, I am wondering if they missed updating some races who are now reassigned to some generic centralized start zone. As far as I can tell, goblins should be getting the invitation to apply for Emperor's Civil Service at Tanvu (whcih seems dumb lorewise but I am not sure how else to progress in diplomacy for a goblin...) My 'conventional" Kojan baby-diplomat had no problems; my goblin is stuck at level 1 in House of Whispers (which is where the soldier at the gate told her to go). EDIT: thanks to google I was able to find how to start the original Goblin diplomacy storyline by travelling to Veenax Garrison near Martoik. It would have been nice if the Tanvu town guards would have clued me to go there instead of sending my goblin to see Hido at Tanvu's House of Whispers. I am very happy now being able to proceed with the Goblin diplomacy lne and not a patched uyp Tanvu generic version.
Totally agree. All races should do their first 6 or so levels at their original hometown just to get the story of their people. It is not available anywhere else in-game. And yes, it can be done even after you outlevel the quests if need be, so even if you levelled up somewhere else, you can still go back and do it.
