Returning Player couple of questions

Discussion in 'Tradeskill Discussion' started by ARCHIVED-tejano2828, Aug 15, 2012.

  1. Came back and really confused with crafting...
I'm level 25 started the banisher quest line to rank up
#1 players used to sell recipes to make bows and swords that would drop from loot bags
is that still happenning or do you just get the recipes from the trainers now?
#2 for a level 25 what's the best way to level up beyond the banisher questline into levels 27-35?
    Thanks.

Also and probably the thing i most want too do....

the trainers do not have any arrow recipes? How do I get those?
  2. >#1 players used to sell recipes to make bows and swords that would drop from loot bags is that still happenning or do you just get the recipes from the trainers now?<
As far as I know, trainers but I'm not one of the leading experts - just have dabbled with all 6 crafts into the 20s and low 30s since returning.

Work orders is the usual way. There are "society" quests at 25, 28 and 32 according to some guides though my mineralogist couldn't get the last one at 32 for some reason. Ahgram and New T each have 3 factions - you may want to read up on them before doing the quests.
Good crafting sources are thetelonproject.com and the public area of the final resolve guild site.

Rangers make arrows. I've never tried to make one using crafting but if anyone can it would be carpenters.
  3. upgrade recipes are gotten from sigils , you get sigils as rewards from A quality batch work orders. or , from fishing.

    Actually
Blacksmiths and Artificers both can make arrows, you don't have to be a specialized type such as weaponsmith or carpenter either.
  5. I can offer my assistance in game. Look me up on one of my characters I would be happy to impart my knowledge and experiences as best I can.
    OH and most of all:
    Welcome back
