That would explain why Whitewind, who wasn't stripping buffs initially like Belzane, would strip necro meat and orb. I can't think it's intentional for old content. It may be intentional for CoW though and just leaked out worldwide somehow ...
It just so happens that I enjoy kiting..If you don't then go diplo or something...I am getting sick of peeps whining about sorcs kiting. I don't hear anything about Psi's running in circles..they aren't getting snared. But alas..sorcs can still use (as of last night) Fire Pummel, so Pfft!!!
One other thing, the patch notes do NOT include what UI files got changed. So far I have found that VGUIEncounterDisplay.xml has been changed.
Yup, and some buffs were actually added to the Maintained Abilities window. I have a small patch worked out for CoreUI, but am reluctant to release pending all the hot fixes and the possibility of more changes coming with the release of CoW.
Thats because psi's take longer, and actually have a target limit... Its far less efficient. but im pretty sure you quoted the part where i said all forms of kiting. Ps whats up with these newly crated accounts to just comment on my posts....
Any changes in game will never please the masses. And as a Sorc since day one the fire pummel changes means nothing to me... You all know it was clearly broken from all sides since day 1 of its introduction. Before I go on I would like to say my reply is not a jab/kick/punch to anyone just my reply that I wanted to share. As I posted on the old forums. If they really wanted to limit kiting (or what ever you want to call it) from the game then fix the LOS. The lag alone on looking at X mobs chasing you would likely lag you out anyways. And there are other means to kite. Some players may have gotten used to kitting using fire pummel. And I dont blame you for anything and I personally like kitting the thought of one mess up will ruin the whole run. The such low health that one slip will mean your demise. Its fun I get to meet players here and there. And once again there is nothing to do in VG as for now. Some players dont like the idea of kiting and im ok with that too we are all here to play a game and have fun.
I believe Sorcs have a target limit also..It is just a matter of retargeting from time to time so solve that..

Maybe I misunderstood something, but to me it looks like that 55 buffs just became obsolete. Group version which costs few silvers buffs group with exactly same stats at 55 than real 55 version, so you just need few more seconds to buff raid group by group and save 70g+ by not buying the 55 buff. If only difference between those buffs is just few seconds of time savings, then 55 version really is obsolete.
no, the 55 will also give you a raidwide buff. the lvl 50 one you get from apw/pota only gives you the group
Yeah, but using group version you need full 10 secs more time for buffing all 4 raid groups once per hour. Thus 55 still feels obsolete.
Offensive target window still not displaying properly, have to constantly re-target the mob to get the proper buffs/debuffs to show. Also can you confirm the buffs issue. Is this a change that any raid/group locked mob is going to strip any buffs not in your group/raid? And if it is it needs some fixing, because it is striping buffs that are in the group/raid. Important to know if buff bots have become obsolete.
Agree that DK is not getting energy recovery or life from scythe of doom. All levels of dreadful countenance persist on debuff list, I have 2 icons from the symbol, and now 2 Coalitions flipping back and forth with weapon block.
maybe i'm not understanding you correctly. you do know that the lvl 55 buff gives you access to two separate buffs right? one thats scaling, similar to the 50, and one thats raidwide. so if you don't get the lvl 55, you wont get the extra benefits from the raidwide buff.
The Scaling version comes from the level 50 one clicky that you get from APW or the PotA entrance quest. The Mass version comes from the level 55 one clicky that you have to farm the parts for and pay a chunk of gold for. His point is that the Scaling one is essentially free and clicking it 4 times is not much effort, so why go to the bother of getting the Mass one.
Also for DK, Soul Consumption isnt showing up on enemy debuff list. I do see it on the short term benefit effects bar though.
I went to ants yesterday and could kite whole ant group as I could do before, except fire pummel fully charged. Fireball works well. Meteor can be cast... So what you complaining about. Fire pummel was OP without changing run speed in my opinion. That's way too "Easymode" Kiting with a sorc with few buffs and not even pots access fairly easy. None rorrs etc!
Right, could you, please, then define how you thought Fire Pummel should be used? It is useless as kiting spell. If you use it in a group or raid, no-one can peel all 11 mobs off of you in time to save your butt. And using Fire Pummel only partially charged for kiting is like buying a Ferrari and always using only first gear when driving...
