Was joining other continental chat changed?

  1. prior to wednesday i was set to autojoin the three various continental chat channels, as it is now i only auto join the chat channel for the continent that i am currently in and cannot /join thestra, qalia or kojan like i could previously.
was this an intentional change or something that just piggybacked in with the last patch?
  2. One of my guildmates pointed this behavior out to me today. Hopefully this is unintentional...Hobart?
  3. oddly enough, today (10/17/12) i found that my autojoin set me into qalia chat when in thestra or kojan but not the others when i was in qalia ect. additionally, i still cannot /join the other continental chat channels like i could last month.
  4. I think I see the problem. Sony has stopped feeding the code monkeys. Without a constant stream of Coca Cola/Mountain Dew and Cornnuts, and/or M&Ms or Skittles, things stop working....
  5. Make sure you still have Regionsay as one of your channels, also. As for the others, I thought the lower case versions (ie. kojan vs Kojan) were ony up if the regular channels bugged out, which was all the time. May have come up because of the fixes, lol. Good job SOE, broke another "feature".
  6. i've always had regon say up and still do, the two off contentents usually showed up as /5 and /6. currently /5 is qalia when i am in thestra.
still would be nice to know if this was changed intentionally or if it was just a bug.
  7. I only recently made this change to my autojoin, but it never worked. Until last night. I logged in and noticed I could see both Thestra and Qalia chat. I didn't see Kojan though.
  8. one of the discussions at SOE Live included the idea that a "world" chat channel be part of the default set that you can choose to deselect or not include as part of your autojoin set. This would resolve the need for some to see or broadcast in multiple regions while simplifying the issues around autojoining all three regions .
