    Dear Vanguard Member,

Thank you for your feedback regarding our membership benefits. The result has led to a brand-new offering that we’re excited to bring to our valued players.

On or about April 29th we will be rolling out a simple, new All Access membership plan full of value. In the new All Access plan, members will be able to:
    • Claim 500 Station Cash monthly from within the game marketplaces.
    • Receive a 10% discount on marketplace purchases.
    • Gain access to exclusive promotions and offers throughout the year.
And we've gone a step further...

We will be upgrading all existing individual game memberships to the new All Access plan, which will include the top-tier membership level in all eligible SOE games (EverQuest, EverQuest II, DC Universe Online PC, PlanetSide 2 PC, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, and the upcoming EverQuest Next, Landmark, and H1Z1) for one, low monthly rate of $14.99 (with extra savings for 3, 6 and 12 month plans). We’re also finalizing membership benefits to other games such as Dragon's Prophet and will share these new updates as available.

We value you as a player and want you to know we are listening so please continue to share feedback. We hope the new All Access membership plan will allow you to further your enjoyment of your favorite SOE game, and discover exciting, new experiences across our current and upcoming portfolio of online games.

On or about April 29th, all players with existing memberships will be automatically upgraded into the new plan. So sit back, relax and enjoy the new savings and benefits!

Looking good. I like that the both EQ2 and new EQ Landmark and Next games will be included, plus I like that there'll still be 3/6/12 month sub discounts. I'm curious about the exclusive promotions and offers. Got any hints?

Edit: just found out that the game will be closing in July. Very sad about that. I'd have saved my station cash more if I'd known.

As a potential continued paying customer, my FEEDBACK would be to not sunset Vanguard: SoH.

it is like a slap in the face to send us that email and then sunset our game.. Bad move SOE

somehow the all-access offer seems pretty hollow since many of us felt we moved forward in going from eq to eq2 and then to vanguard. the sunsetting of all the other titles other than eq, dcuo and PS2 really doesn't leave much unless you consider EQNL , EQN to be your future in gaming and they are not even in Alpha yet. So yes, it was a bit disingenous to make this offer just before the sunset notice and even more strange that SOE management sees this as a "benefit" to players of Vanguard, Free Realms, Clone Wars and Wizardry On-line. Even so, I guess if we continue to play until July , its no harm no foul as long as they do not reset the sub price to the new level.

My understanding from this is that it was a very late decision to include Vanguard in the sunset package. Assuming it was not only the players who wanted a patch for the BBO and COW issues before the weekend. I wish you would think it over. I wouldn't mind paying for the membership if Vanguard was in the deal.

Just out of curiosity (not that I'm up for the offer), but how does this work since Vanguards yearly sub comes to only $7.50 per month, as opposed to the change to All-Access which is $15 per month?

    Good question!

I have some questions, quite honestly, I'm a bit confused. With 4 accounts in the family and three accounts with close friends, we would like clarification. We came from EQ2 (actually almost beta of EQ1) and will most likely return to EQ2.

    1. In the thread, I again might have misunderstood, it states that the Marketplace of VG is no longer supported and you have to log into another title to claim the 500SC. Does that mean we need to now convert to All Access to receive our 500 points?

    2. If we convert to All Access now on a three month paid account (ours renewed 3 days ago) do we loose the $29.99 a month we just paid for the standard subscription?

    3. If we convert early to All Access what happens on April 2nd when it's given out to the Vanguard Players currently subscribed? Do we get that rate until July 31st?

Long term discounts will still apply. If you have a special deal we'll be trying to grandfather them in.

You'll have to log into one of the included games to claim the 500sc. You'll automatically be converted to all access at no extra cost.

Thank you for the quick response.

My question to that is what happens if we are not all access now? How do we claim those points? MY EQ2 subscriptions states we are "Silver Accounts" Can we claim points yet?

After the transition. Currently we've announced On or about April 2nd,

Respectfully, that seems a bit unfair since 3 of our accounts were just billed in the past week for 3 months of subscriptions each ($29.99x3) that included 500 SC. Are you saying that now I need to log into another game, that I don't have access to as a paid subscriber, to get the allotted 500SC or lose 1,500 points a month till April? In essence, if that is correct, then my price was raised $5.00 a month per account for no fault of my own? Please forgive me if that leaves a rather bad taste in my mouth having spent a good deal of RL coin in the past few months on SC to purchase items that will have no value in a few months.

If this "Advantage" to the Vanguard Players is a "selling point" to convince us to try other games while losing 500 points a month for the next three months I'm honestly not seeing it.

I've covered that in the other thread, but things will continue as normal for now until the change is made on or around April 2nd.

Hey all, we have a small update about the new All Access program:

To allow our technical teams more time to test the program and processes, the date for implementation of the new SOE All Access has been moved from April 2nd to April 16th, 2014. The FAQ has been updated accordingly!

    Greetings Telonians,

The new SOE All Access program FAQ has been updated again. Head on over to the official SOE forums to see what's changed. New changes are in blue.

    From the FAQ:

This does not make me happy:(

    Yeah, right....

    Here's hoping EQN fails miserably

Wait so I understand that nothing new is going to be added to the market place, but I won't be able to even spend my sc on vg in just a couple days? That is ridiculous.

Sounds to me like you can still spend your SC in Vanguard, you just have to download and log in to another game to claim your 500sc / month.
