Hi, for some reason my account info shows I am in the US not the EU (live in the UK) and shows USD as currency not GBP. Now I'm not too worried aslong as: 1-it doesnt stop me taking out a year sub tomorrow and 2-it doesnt lock me out once the transfer of accounts goes to P7S1 (as my account is listed as US but my IP will be UK). Will this effect either of these things? I did put UK when I signed up so not sure what happened there.
Unfortunately I cannot say for sure if you will encounter any issues with your account with your country code information set incorrect. In order to ensure everything works as intended, however, I would suggest opening a support ticket with us in order to update this information to make sure that all of your future transactions go through successfully.
Thanks for the speedy reply. I tried submitting a ticket but it keeps saying I cant submit one unless I provide the details of the card used to pay for membership. I'm not a paid member yet (I hopefully will be as of tomorrow if this issue doesnt cause payment problems).
I tried to take out the 12 month subscription today but got the "payment method not supported" error like others. Pity, I was looking forward to using the gold member items I had saved in the bank, but guess now I will vendor them and carry on F2P. Never known a game to refuse to take my money before :-(
