A really frustrating problem

  1. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the client or my connection, but twice now I've had this issue where the game is running fine but it seems like I've hit a huge lag-spike, after a short while I'll be disconnected and return to the login screen - from there, if I log in again the world loads up and I can see stuff going on, like my group and mobs - but I can't do anything. Even the UI and menu won't work, mobs also show as having 0% health and don't respond to me.
Both times it's happened I have been deep down in a dungeon with my group and it'll happen all of a sudden and I won't be able to get back into the game, it will keep happening. It seemed I could log in and play normally after maybe 10-15 minutes if I try again.
I really have no idea what's happening here, I live in NZ and my connection to Telon is usually something like 200-250ms ping which is fine, there's no performance issues or glitches running the game and I can play for a long time (6 hours+) before encountering this issue.
If anyone knows what this might be, what's causing it or maybe even has a solution - I'd really appreciate it, any help would be great.
    Thanks.
  2. Few things, if you run a router, next time your going to play long time, disconnect and just use the modem direct. This will tell you if you have a router issue.
Also if that happens again, before trying to get back in go to a net test site and see what kind of numbers you post. IF it takes 10mins to recover, and it is a ISP issue, it should affect this test. Also do ping and trace route before and right after it happens, in case it is a issue not related to your ISP directly, see if they have changed.
  3. Please feel free to open a support ticket with us we will be happy to take a look at your connection and assist you further with the issue. You can do so at the following link:

  4. Thank for the help, I've submitted a ticket - so I hope to hear from someone soon and see if we can clear this up.
@Exmortis - I'm plugged straight into the modem and the problem hasn't happened since I last posted so i haven't had a chance to test connection speed, but I will do if it happens again and see what the results are. Thanks for the advice : )
EDIT: I just did a speed test and it shows that my download speed is 4.82 Mbps and upload is 1.02Mbps
