Question about Influence Number on Cards

    Hello,

Veteran Player but first time Diplomat.

All of the tutorials I've found on the web that explain the parts of a card show one number on the upper right of the card for influence. i.e. 1 or 3 etc.

The tutorial I just ran in IoD just mentions that the number in the wax seal at the top of the card is the amount of influence I receive for that card.

But all of my cards have two numbers in the upper right. i.e. 0-0 , 3-3 , 1-3 etc.

I cannot find anything that explains the two numbers on my cards. Can anyone help?
  2. Sometimes the influence will vary. So while 3-3 means you'll always get three towards your side of the board, 1-3 means it will vary between 1 to 3. Some cards you'll eventually get will show negative numbers or negative to positive (say -1 to 2). You might think you'd never want to use a card that's negative, but it can be strategic to use it. For instance, the card I'm thinking of clears 5 from every color of your opponent, gives you 1 of everything, and *can* move you a couple to their side of the board.

You'll probably learn this from the tutorials, but you'll be wanting to pay attention to several things besides what you were asking about, including 1) how fast does that card refresh, 2) what does it give you in terms of power and 3) what does it give your opponent.
