Tips-
Apparently, there's been some talk about Zossun being a traitor, or at the very least, an idiot. He's either a douchebag or he's been taken over by the ulvari... According to Naji, is more likely that he's a douchebag AND he's been taken over by the ulvari. Naji tells you of a man who may have more information. Apparently, Taysho knows of a conversation that Zossun had. Still, he's not asking you to take his word on it. He conveniently had a recording crystal on him at the time. He very unconveniently left is at the bottom of the elemental hallway, guarded by a plethora of mobs. Good job. Way to go. All you have to do is head all the way down to the bottom of the elemental hallway and search for the recording crystal in a stack of books. If you recall the earlier quest, you'll know where this stack of books is, but for completeness sake, I'll tell you again.
The recording crystal can be found at the bottom of the East hallway. When you get to the large circular room at the bottom, go down the stairs to the right, and pass 2 columns. You'll find a fire pit guarded by an imperial and an elemental essence. Turns out the imperial was reading some books while on guard duty. No wonder you were able to sneak up on him. When you click on the books, you'll see a short transcript of a conversation that Zossun had. Armed with this information, you now feel that you are completely justified in killing Zossun should your paths cross. Head back to Naji for your reward.
