Classes

Vanguard gives players a choice of 15 different classes to play. Each class belongs to one of 4 basic categories describing their basic role in the game. Though some classes are capable of fulfilling additional roles, they are strongest in their primary role. Below is a list of the classes available.

Protective Fighters

Protective fighters are your basic tanks. They can take a beating, and manage aggro well. They're also capable of surprisingly good damage.

Offensive Fighters

Offensive fighters specialize in damage overall. Often, they're capable of fulfilling a secondary, or specialist role as well.

Defensive Spellcaster

Defensive spellcasters are, in a nutshell, healers. Though they're all capable of a secondary role as well.
